These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the YoYu website, www.yoyu.life (the “Website”), owned and operated by YoYu Limited (“YoYu”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.

By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Website immediately.

1. Definitions

1.1 “Website” means www.yoyu.life and all associated pages, content, and services.
1.2 “User(s)” means individuals browsing, viewing, or using the Website.
1.3 “Wellness Service Provider(s)” / “Provider(s)” means individuals or organisations offering wellness-related services or events listed on the Website.
1.4 “Services” means the listing, advertising, visibility, discovery, and connection services provided by YoYu.
1.5 “Verification Badge” or “Badge” means YoYu’s optional verification service.
1.6 “Event Listings” means paid promotional listings for wellness events published by Providers.
1.7 “B2B Contract” means all Provider subscriptions and fee-based arrangements operate on a business-to-business basis.

2. Nature of The Platform

2.1 YoYu operates an online marketplace enabling Users to discover and connect with independent Providers.
2.2 YoYu does not provide medical, therapeutic, clinical, psychological, coaching, or wellness services. All services and events are delivered independently by Providers.
2.3 YoYu does not supervise, monitor, accredit, or guarantee:
(a) Provider qualifications, competence, safety, insurance, or professional conduct;
(b) availability, responsiveness, or suitability of Providers;
(c) accuracy or completeness of Provider-submitted information;
(d) legality, safety, or quality of services or events;
(e) outcomes of any Provider service.
2.4 YoYu does not participate in or manage bookings, cancellations, payments between Users and Providers, client screening, or disputes.
2.5 The Verification Badge is based on limited document checks only and is not an accreditation, endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee of competence.
2.6 Any engagement between a User and a Provider constitutes a separate, independent agreement. YoYu is not a party to such agreements.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Users must be at least 18 years old.
3.2 Providers must:
(a) be at least 18 years old;
(b) be legally permitted to offer their services;
(c) hold all required qualifications and registrations;
(d) maintain appropriate insurance;
(e) comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

4. Provider Responsibilities

Providers agree to:
4.1 Create an account to publish listings.
4.2 Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and throughout their subscription.
4.3 Maintain valid qualifications, registrations, and insurance at all times.
4.4 Promptly update all information if it changes.
4.5 Accept full responsibility for the legality, safety, and delivery of their services and events.
4.6 Communicate professionally with Users.
4.7 Maintain at their own cost all necessary insurance (e.g., professional indemnity, public liability, malpractice where applicable).
4.8 Deliver services directly to Users outside the YoYu platform.

YoYu is not responsible for disputes, non-attendance, changes, cancellations, injuries, harm, dissatisfaction, losses, or damages arising from Provider services or behaviour.

5. Provider Subscriotions & Fees (B2B Contract)

All Provider payments operate strictly on a B2B basis.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply.
No cooling-off rights apply.

All our fees for all of our categories, Provider subscription fees, Verification badge and renewal fees, and all Event listing fees, are strictly non-refundable.

YoYu may, from time to time, make available promotional, introductory, or discounted offers. All such offers are subject to their specific terms, eligibility criteria, and stated validity period.

YoYu reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw any promotional offer in accordance with its stated terms.

5.1 Subscription Fees

Standard Subscription: £20 per month
Minimum commitment: 3 months (£60 billed upfront)
– All subscription fees are non-refundable.
– Includes Provider profile listing and visibility.
– YoYu may review and adjust subscription prices at any time; updated pricing applies from publication.

5.2 Verification Badge Fees

YoYu may, from time to time, make available promotional, introductory, or discounted offers. All such offers are subject to their specific terms, eligibility criteria, and stated validity period.

YoYu reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw any promotional offer in accordance with its stated terms.

Verification Fee: £50 per year
Annual Renewal Fee: £25
– All fees are strictly non-refundable, including if
(a) verification is unsuccessful;
(b) documents are insufficient;
(c) Provider withdraws;
(d) criteria change;
(e) category becomes ineligible.

Badge validity: 12 months, subject to removal.

Prices may be updated at any time.

5.3 Event Listing Fees

YoYu may, from time to time, make available promotional, introductory, or discounted offers. All such offers are subject to their specific terms, eligibility criteria, and stated validity period.

YoYu reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw any promotional offer in accordance with its stated terms.

– All Event Listing Fees are non-refundable, including due to:
(a) Provider cancellation;
(b) late submission;
(c) event errors or changes;
(d) postponement;
(e) non-attendance;
(f) change of mind.

YoYu does not process or manage event bookings or User payments.


Prices may be updated at any time.

6. VERIFICATION BADGE POLICY

6.1 Scope of Verification

YoYu conducts limited document checks, including:
– qualifications;
– professional registrations;
– insurance documents;
– identity verification (where applicable).

YoYu does not verify:
– clinical competence;
– service quality;
– background or criminal history;
– fitness to practise;
– suitability for any particular User.

6.2 Eligibility

Verification is available only for categories where documentation can be reasonably assessed.
Eligible categories appear on the Verification Page and may change.

6.3 Provider Duties

Providers must:
(a) submit accurate and authentic documents;
(b) notify YoYu immediately of any lapse in qualifications or insurance;
(c) not misuse or misrepresent their Verified status;
(d) remove all Badge references if revoked.

Providers may be asked to submit additional evidence at YoYu’s discretion.

6.4 Fees

All fees, Provider subscription fees, Verification Fees and their Renewal Fees are all non-refundable under all circumstances.

6.5 Badge Validity & Revocation

YoYu may revoke verification at any time if:
– documents cannot be verified;
– information is misleading or inaccurate;
– qualifications or insurance lapse;
– concerns arise about safety, conduct, or risk;
– the Provider’s category becomes ineligible.

YoYu may decline or revoke verification without providing detailed reasons.

6.6 Timelines & Limitations

Verification timelines are not guaranteed.
Verification does not guarantee:
– higher visibility;
– client enquiries;
– commercial outcomes;
– ranking or placement;
– endorsement.

6.7 Verification Indemnity

Providers indemnify YoYu for any losses arising from false, inaccurate, or misleading documents submitted for Verification.

7. EVENT LISTING POLICY

7.1 Providers are fully responsible for the accuracy, safety, legality, and completeness of event information.
7.2 YoYu does not validate or guarantee event quality, safety, or suitability.
7.3 YoYu may remove events without refund if they violate policy or law.
7.4 YoYu is not liable for event cancellations, postponements, inaccuracies, changes, low attendance, or associated losses.

8. User Responsibilities

Users acknowledge that:
8.1 They must conduct their own due diligence before engaging Providers.
8.2 YoYu does not guarantee the safety, suitability, or quality of services or events.
8.3 Engagements with Providers are at the User’s own risk.
8.4 YoYu is not liable for dissatisfaction, harm, emotional distress, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from Provider services or events.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

Users and Providers must not:
9.1 Use the Website unlawfully or fraudulently.
9.2 Upload harmful, defamatory, misleading, or discriminatory content.
9.3 Promote hate, harassment, or discrimination.
9.4 Impersonate any person or Provider.
9.5 Misrepresent qualifications or identity.
9.6 Post false, misleading, or manipulated reviews.
9.7 Scrape, harvest, or copy Website data.
9.8 Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code.
9.9 Interfere with Website functionality or attempt to bypass security.

YoYu may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All content, branding, text, graphics, and Website structure belong to YoYu.
10.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify Website content without written permission.
10.3 Providers grant YoYu a licence to use their profile content for listing, promotion, and advertising.

11. Payment Processing

11.1 Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
11.2 YoYu does not store full card details.
11.3 Providers must ensure payment methods remain valid and up to date.

11.4 Managing Your Subscription;

You can manage or cancel your YoYu subscription at any time through our secure billing portal.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, YoYu is not liable for:
– Provider actions or omissions;
– professional negligence or misconduct;
– injuries, harm, emotional distress, dissatisfaction, or losses;
– inaccuracies in listings or events;
– cancellations, postponements, or changes;
– indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
– loss of income, business, profit, opportunity, or data.

YoYu’s total liability, if any, is capped at the total amount paid by the Provider to YoYu in the preceding 12 months.
YoYu does not guarantee uninterrupted Website access.

13. Indemnity

Users and Providers agree to indemnify and hold YoYu harmless from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
13.1 breach of these Terms;
13.2 misuse of the Website;
13.3 inaccurate or misleading information;
13.4 violation of any applicable law;
13.5 misuse or misrepresentation of Verification status.

14. Termination

YoYu may suspend or terminate access without notice if:
14.1 these Terms are breached;
14.2 fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activity is suspected;
14.3 Provider information is inaccurate or misleading;
14.4 qualifications, registrations, or insurance lapse.

No refunds are issued upon termination.

15. Complaints

Complaints relating to the Website, billing, accounts, or Provider listings must be submitted in writing to info@yoyu.life

We aim, but do not guarantee, to acknowledge complaints within 7 working days and to respond within 21 working days.

Providers listed on YoYu are independent professionals. YoYu does not provide medical, therapeutic, or clinical services. Complaints concerning treatment, advice, or professional conduct must be directed to the relevant Provider and, where appropriate, their professional regulator.

YoYu may investigate complaints at its sole discretion and may request information, amend or remove content, suspend listings or verification badges, or take no action. Decisions made by YoYu following review are final, subject to applicable law.

We are not obliged to participate in Alternative Dispute Resolution schemes.

Nothing in this clause limits statutory rights.

16. Third-party Links

The Website has links to external sites.
YoYu does not endorse, control, or guarantee external content or safety.

 

17. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the Website is subject to:
– YoYu’s Privacy Policy
– YoYu’s Cookie Policy

YoYu complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

 

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
