What is YoYu?
YoYu is a UK-based online wellness marketplace connecting individuals with trusted, holistic Wellness Service Providers. We offer profile listings, visibility, and event advertising. YoYu does not provide wellness services or manage bookings or payments.
Is YoYu free for Users?
Yes. Browsing and contacting Providers is completely free.
Are Providers employed by YoYu?
No. Providers operate independently. YoYu does not employ, supervise, or manage them.
Does YoYu guarantee Provider quality?
No. Providers are responsible for their own standards and service delivery. Some Providers may hold a YoYu Verification Badge, which confirms certain documents have been reviewed.
Do Providers and Event Organisers need to accept legal agreements?
Yes. All Providers and all Event Organisers must accept:

• The YoYu Website Terms & Conditions
• The YoYu Privacy Policy
Acceptance is required before profiles are activated, verification is processed, or events are listed.

How do I find a Provider?
Use the search function, category filters, or browse through Provider profiles, which display photos, bios, qualifications, and contact details.
How do I contact a Provider?
Each profile includes direct contact information or a contact button. YoYu does not intermediate communication.
Do Users pay YoYu?
No. YoYu is free for Users.
What if I have an issue with a Provider?
Issues must be addressed directly with the Provider. YoYu is not a party to your agreement and does not mediate disputes.
Are all Providers regulated?
No. Many wellness fields in the UK are unregulated. Users should exercise personal judgement.

Do Providers need to accept any agreements before joining?
Yes. Providers must accept the following prior to signing up to be a Provider:

What subscription options are available?
Service Provider Subscription:
• £20 per month
• 3-month minimum (£60 upfront)
• Profile listing, visibility, direct enquiries, and YoYu community updates
Verification Badge Only:
• £50 per year (renewal £25)
• Does not include a profile unless paired with a subscription

How do I update my profile?

Do Providers need insurance?
Yes. Providers must maintain valid and appropriate insurance as required under the Provider Service Agreement.
Does YoYu manage bookings or payments?
No. Providers manage their own bookings, payments, schedules, and communications.
Verification Badge
What is the YoYu Verification Badge?
It confirms that YoYu has reviewed specific documents, which may include:
• Professional body registration (if applicable)
• Qualifications or training
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Additional evidence if relevant to the modality

Who is eligible?
Providers who can present appropriate qualifications, registrations, and insurance.
How much does verification cost?
• £50 first year

How long does verification take?
Verification applications are reviewed as promptly as possible. While most are processed within 7–10 working days, processing times may vary and are not guaranteed.
Can the Verification Badge be revoked?
Yes, if:
• Information is inaccurate or misleading
• Insurance or qualifications lapse
• Safety or conduct concerns arise
• A Provider is suspended or struck off from a professional register
Providers must notify YoYu of updates, as required in the Provider Service Agreement.

No. Verification confirms documents only, not skill, suitability, or clinical competence.
Event Listings
Event Organiser Requirements
To list an event on YoYu, Event Organisers must:
• Provide accurate and complete event information
• Ensure venue suitability, participant safety, and legal/insurance compliance
• Manage all attendee enquiries, communications, refunds, changes, and cancellations
• Submit only safe, honest, and appropriate content
YoYu may reject or remove events that misrepresent qualifications, breach legal or ethical standards, pose safety concerns, or conflict with YoYu’s wellness values.
Event Organisers grant YoYu permission to display and promote their event content while retaining ownership of their materials.
YoYu does not handle attendee enquiries, complaints, disputes, or refund requests and is not liable for event delivery, safety, cancellations, or related losses.
Before purchasing an event listing, Event Organisers must read and agree to the Provider Service Agreement (including the Data Processing Agreement), Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy. All payments are strictly non-refundable.
Submitting an event constitutes acceptance of all responsibilities outlined in the Provider Service Agreement.

What payment methods are accepted?
YoYu uses Stripe for secure payments.
Are all payments non-refundable?

Do subscriptions auto-renew?
Yes, unless cancelled before renewal via Stripe.
Can prices change?
Yes. YoYu reserves the right to amend subscription fees, verification fees, and listing charges at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect the remainder of your current billing period. Providers are responsible for managing their own renewal dates and cancellations through their account settings. YoYu does not issue renewal reminders, and failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in automatic renewal in accordance with your selected billing cycle. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

Safety, Trust & Data Protection
Does YoYu verify all Providers?
No. Verification is optional.
Is data secure?
Yes. YoYu complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Does YoYu share data?
Data is shared only with essential partners such as Stripe, hosting services, or analytics providers. YoYu does not sell personal data.
Does the Provider Service Agreement include data protection terms?
Yes. It includes YoYu’s Data Processing terms. The Privacy Policy is separate. Please read both for details.
Website & Tech Support
Is YoYu mobile-friendly?
Yes. The platform is fully responsive.
What if I have trouble uploading files?
Try reducing the file size, using another browser, or clearing your cache. For assistance, contact info@yoyu.life.
Can I hide or pause my profile?
Yes. Providers may request temporary deactivation by email.
Does YoYu edit Provider profiles?
YoYu may make minor formatting edits, but Providers are responsible for all content accuracy.
Legal & Policy
Is YoYu responsible for Provider actions?
No. Providers are independent. YoYu is not liable for dissatisfaction, injuries, misconduct, event issues, or financial losses.
Does YoYu mediate disputes?
No. Disputes must be resolved directly between Users and Providers.
Can YoYu terminate an account?
Yes, including for:
• Breach of policies or legal terms
• Misleading information
• Safety or conduct concerns
• Lapsed insurance or qualifications
• Verification non-compliance
