Bio
Eva is a Pilates/movement teacher with over 20 years of professional experience teaching clients of all ages and backgrounds. Each of her sessions is tailored to the individual, honouring their body, nervous system, and life experience. Whether your goal is rehabilitation, improved performance, or simply moving with more ease and confidence, Eva’s intention is to support you in feeling stronger, freer, and more connected to your body.
Eva was first introduced to Pilates in 1996 during her training at the College of the Royal Academy of Dance. She immediately fell in love with the method, experiencing a profound and lasting impact on her ballet technique and overall quality of movement. After several years of teaching ballet, she went on to complete a comprehensive Pilates teacher training in both Matwork and Apparatus with Pilates Foundation Ltd.
This extensive training enables Eva to adapt and modify the Pilates method to suit each individual, meeting people where they are and responding thoughtfully to their needs. What Eva enjoys most about her work is the diversity of people she teaches. Over the years, she has worked with individuals of all ages, abilities, and expectations — from professional dancers and athletes to people with various conditions or disabilities.
During the lockdown period, Eva used the opportunity to broaden her movement training by completing several courses in the Garuda method. The Garuda method beautifully complements Pilates by combining strength, mobility, rhythm, and fluidity into a holistic and dynamic movement practice. During the same period she has also qualified to teach the Yoga Trapeze, which offers safe spinal decompression, builds confidence and supports the development of grip strength in an accessible and empowering way.
Since 2022, Eva has undertaken Peter Crone’s Mastermind courses, which have been deeply transformative both personally and professionally. She now weaves these teachings into her sessions, enhancing the way she works with clients and bringing greater awareness to both movement and nervous system regulation.
Eva no longer sees herself as simply teaching Pilates. Instead, she uses Pilates as a tool through which to observe an individual’s movement patterns, nervous system state, and how these influence their overall wellbeing. Her aim is to support clients in shifting from survival mode into creative mode, allowing them to rediscover flow — our inherent natural state and the foundation of true health.
