Bio
I am a qualified GP with extensive experience in both the NHS and international private medical sectors providing me with a strong foundation to draw upon.
In the UK, I transformed a single handed GP surgery into a thriving practice supporting medical, allied health and non clinical teams. This experience strengthened my leadership, business management, and training skills while maintaining high quality patient care. Navigating NHS reforms, shifting political priorities, new care pathways and evolving societal expectations has further honed my agility, resilience and judgement.
Beyond clinical practice, I have led quality improvement work, organised education programmes, facilitated teams, and implemented policy. These varied roles have been a rich learning experience shaped by both the support I have received and mentorship I have given. They have also clarified what truly matters in sustaining a healthy balance between professional purpose and personal wellbeing.
I support quality improvement, change management, personal and career development, and provide mentoring and executive coaching. I am an experienced facilitator, educator and mentor in the final stages of my training for the ILM7 coaching qualification (EMC registration planned on completion). I use a non directive, reflective coaching style grounded in strong listening skills and a belief in each client’s resourcefulness.
Outside of work I enjoy cooking, bee keeping, sport and travelling and have fun combining these activities with raising money for charity.
