Bio

Hello! I am a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in the comprehensive treatment of breast cancer. My approach combines meticulous oncological surgery with advanced reconstructive techniques, ensuring that each patient receives safe and effective cancer treatment while also preserving, and where needed restoring, their sense of wholeness and confidence.

For me, breast cancer care is about far more than removing a tumour. A diagnosis touches every aspect of a person’s life — their identity, their relationships, their sense of femininity, strength, and security. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my patients during what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives. My aim is to provide clarity, reassurance, and technical excellence, while never losing sight of the human being behind the diagnosis.

I have a deep interest in life after cancer. Increasingly, we recognise that survival is only part of the story. How someone feels physically, emotionally, and psychologically in the months and years after treatment truly matters. I am passionate about preventive health, long-term wellbeing, and empowering patients to rebuild strength and confidence beyond their cancer journey.

Outside of surgery, I am a committed marathon runner. Endurance training has shaped my belief in the powerful integration of mind and body. Physical resilience cannot be separated from mental strength, and both are deeply influenced by purpose and spiritual wellbeing. These are not abstract ideas to me — they are lived experiences that inform how I practise medicine.

I believe in a holistic approach to recovery: movement, nutrition, emotional support, community, and spiritual grounding all play a role in healing. My goal is not only to treat breast cancer with precision and care, but to help patients move forward into the next chapter of their lives with strength, dignity, and hope.

Ultimately, I strive to help each person I treat not simply survive breast cancer, but to live fully and well beyond it.
